The most common fabric repeat is called the half step repeat. This example shows my central motif, "Tuscan Lemon," outlined in blue. The challenge is not only to fit the
motif into the repeat but also to create a pleasing flow to the overall effect of the completed pattern.
A lot of my artwork has been licensed for use in stitchery kits. Shown above, my "Butterfly Garden" design collection as adapted for cross stitch, needlepoint and crewel embroidery.
